This custom lighting fixture project was commissioned by restaurant owner. The client wanted a huge lighting fixture covering almost of the recessed surface of the ceiling. The budget was very tight and the fabrication method should be simple and easy. HAAK architects proposed 10 lighting fixtures with 5 unique sizes. Each fixture consists of resin with fabric interlayer, resin diffuser, wood frame and LED. The opening in the middle of each fixture helps covering large surface while avoiding the bulky appearance.
