Movement stimulates lighting within prague coffee shop by mimosa architekti

The clean minimal interiors of the ‘proti proudu bistro‘ in prague by mimosa architekti was developed using the themes ‘current and connection’. located in the karlín district, part of the concept drew influence from the local, well known electrical engineer – františek křižík. the electrical concept merged with the idea of connecting through good coffee and delicious food. the main bar wall, made of white perforated plywood, creates a grid, which all the components on the wall connect to – from the sliding targets of wires to the paper roll with a daily menu. a network of wires, stretching from the switches to behind the counter to the lights above the tables, strengthens this theme of connection between staff and guests.
